  1. Benjamin Cronshaw Benjamin Cronshaw says:

Fantastic book The book outlines many problems with the western consumer lifestyle including environmental impacts worker exploitation and the spiritual emptiness of consumerism There is a very interesting exposition of the Biblical message on justice and generosity including the Mosaic law where everyone should have enough food to eat and interest free loans forgiven every seven years and the teachings of Jesus The book gives a compelling case for economic justice and stewardship being integral part of the Christian mission It is something that Christians need to take seriously with the human and environmental challenges that we face eg poverty climate change refugees

  2. Dan Dan says:

Very ordinary Admittedly the author does do uite a good job of convicting the Western consumer about the implications of his consumption Having said that the book contains a number of occasions of bible verses being take out of context and sadly a complete ignoring of the real solution to greedthat being a steady diet of the gospel of Jesus Christ

  3. Andrew Roberts Andrew Roberts says:

  4. Ian Ian says:

a challenging read which takes seriously the Christian responsibility to be good stewards of creation; to love one another and to honour God in our consuming

  5. Kathie Kathie says:
