Of all of Anne Ford s books, this one spoke to my heart the most This was very painful to read, and I literally felt flayed open It didn t sugar coat the reality of having a child with a severe learning disability, but it completely validated my experience thus far It didn t offer a bright and rosie future either This was read as part of a parent support book club at my daughter s school.
