I am certainly not an expert in Herpetology but this book seems to be very thorough and complete in its coverage of Indian reptiles and amphibians I have primarily used this guide to help identify various lizards and frogs that I have found in my 2 trips to India a country filled with natural history wonders

  2. Jonathan Jonathan says:

Great accounts for the species covered But there are so few accounts compared to the number of species in India that the book uickly becomes unhelpful for many species More for the casual wildlife observer interested in the largest andor most common species than the serious amateur herpetologist interested in everything
